Saturday we got up early and started butchering chickens. We did 25 of the biggest chickens. We decided that they were a little bit too small so we only did 25. We had that mess done by 9:00 and we were ready to start working on the horse stalls in the barn. So we got all of our tools and started working. We were in the haymow for a while trying to round up the wood. We tore out all the old gates and hauled out all the straw. I got all the boards down from the haymow and then gave them to Levi and then he stacked them. It was 90 degrees outside so we went to U. Jerry’s pool for a couple of hours. In the evening we went to the Sauder picnic. We played some softball. We had a great time!!
