Last Saturday, our two main projects were digging in Brandi’s shock line and gardening. We managed to get both jobs done without anybody getting too low on morale.
Right after breakfast I went out and found our cat stuck on the roof. It turns out that Jacob thought the kitty was getting a little too feisty, so he threw it on the roof. We had to help it down after it was up there an hour and still wouldn't come down.

This is a machine that we rented from Curt Schweigert. It was originally a rototiller, but he added an attachment that dug in dog lines. Andrew spent a few days with us since his folks were on a trip. He and Ben helped too before they went to robotics.
These are some of the bovines that we have right now. The one in the top back left is a cow, and all the rest are calves.

Jewel and Josh built this dam. I helped a little but not much. This is looking west.
This is one of Brandi’s favorite games. It’s called Tug.
Monday we had Wyatt and Bristol. Taking a quick break from playing to have a snack.

Tuesday we went to Restmor, and then afterwards Roxy and the kids came for lunch.
You can’t see real well, but that’s Kaitlyn on Skeeter.
Tori brought Brandi down for her first swim. She loved the water. You could throw a toy out in the water, and she would swim out and bring it back.
Not many fish biting yet.
We finally got out a few boats since it was warm enough.
Brandi in the middle of shaking. She wasn't real considerate of where she shook, so if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, you were liable to get wet.
After we got back from the lake, we got out the fire burner.
Wednesday Kaitlyn had Cason and Clay, and Jenna also came for lunch. Of course if you're outside, you have to have a four-wheeler ride.
Thursday we had Wyatt and Bristol again. Bristol got to help me sweep for a little while.
Brandi was so funny jumping to bite big bubbles.
Thursday evening, Levi and Echo stopped to hang out for awhile. Kiowa loved to spin on the tire swing.
Then some snacks for a certain little girl who thought she was starving, Ahem, Kiowa.
As you can see, Jesse and Lucy came by for awhile.
Kiowa was intrigued by the fire.
Friday we had Alliyah as well as three Baer kids. Too much cuteness in one spot!
Brandi is so cute all sprawled out.
She loves to lay on the patio chairs. I'm still not sure why she picked a little chair when she could have had a big one, but I guess if she's happy, we’re happy.
