A Few Baer Days

Beautiful sky Sunday afternoon.

 

 

Two little Baer cubs came home from church with us and stayed for a couple days bc their Mama Baer was pretty sick.

 

Ben's drone gets lots of use and admiration.

 

Lots of action with cubbies here.

 

Kids' favorite Christmas gift has been well used :)

 

After supper we went to GGK for awhile. Music was great.

 

Monday morning helpers.

 

By Tuesday morning these two were ready to go home.

 

And, soon after lunch, they did.

And kids here did chores while I took a nap.

And we had supper and then all went to church for the New Year's Eve service.

And then some of us went to celebrate the New Year with TYG and some of us celebrated here with a movie and some of us celebrated here in our sleep.

 

And that's the end of 2019.

 

TK Christmas

This Christmas might be remembered as The Christmas Of The Ugly Clothes. While there were many nice loving thoughtful gifts given and received, there were also quite a few gag gifts that will be returned back to the thrift shops from whence they came. I think the kids got their money's worth of laughs :) 

 

 

Jacob happened to open the first adorable outfit.

 

Three littlest were responsible for these quality garments.

 

Some of the real gifts were pretty funny also. This one is especially apt, as Lucy confirmed and no one denied :)

 

By far my favorite px of the day -

 

Josh's smile speaks loudly :)

 

The Razor helmet kind of gave away the kids' main gift from Dad and me. Oh well. They still liked it.

 

Kiowa's new dollhouse needed a family of neighbors to visit so Jacob got out ours.

 

Fine bunch.

 

 

And that's a wrap for Christmas 2019.

Another Houseful

Thursday morning sunrise was breathtaking. I did errands and kids did Friday jobs, because they knew that we would have a houseful...

 

 

...of kids on Friday.

 

 

Plus we made soup and rolls.

 

It was a busy day.

 

Soup at Grandpa and Grandma's Friday night was delicious. Fun gifts and fellowship.

 

Steiner Christmas

Steiner Christmas started with a brunch here on Christmas Eve. No px of that, but just this one of Ben's drone and its audience. 

 

 

Next was Owen's Ice Rink in Peoria. Super fun.

 

 

 

 

Christmas Eve we were at A. Sarah's for Monical's pizza then games.

 

And maybe a soapbox or two...

 

Christmas Day was at U. Dave & A. Sandy's.

 

Beautiful afternoon to work off a delicious dinner. Some of us walked, and some played football.

 

And some loved on U. Dave's kittens.

 

 

The whole crew minus Andrew & Kathryn, Leah, and Flint who was napping.

 

 

There were also a few naps. 

 

A few gifts.

 

 

 

 A few songs.

 

 

A few dirty faces because there were quite more than a few snacks and goodies.

 

 A few games.

 

 

And of course a few more soapboxes.

 

And that was Steiner Christmas 2019.
