6-23-11 Cold

Today it is cold and cloudy outside. Yesterday it was cold and cloudy outside. Tuesday it was hot and sunny except for while during supper when it rained. We haven’t been doing much here lately. Monday I turned 15 so we celebrated Monday night. Then, I got another dessert Tuesday when Dad was home (he had a late meeting Monday). Yesterday Dad, Mom, and Grandma and Grandpa Kaiser drove to St. Louis to pick up our new van.    Dad and Mom are glad to be done van shopping. 

Here are some pictures from the last few days.

These are potato bug larvae. As you can see, they eat up potato plants like candy bars.

Mom had Levi put this hoop in for a late crop of cucumbers.

 

Monday Aunt Joyce came to read to the kids.

Josh was a model child while she was here. He just sat and read books.

What are the kids watching?

 

Grandpa’s tractor is back from the repair shop. Now there is no reason for the boys to put off removing the 8 ft. post from beside our driveway any longer.
