Annie got herself into a pickle one afternoon.

This is the JonARed tree. I've never seen anything like it. Definitely need to get some thinning done.  Apples have two months to harvest and branches are sagging already.

Dad's been doing a great job spraying though so they look really good.

This is a red or yellow delicious. Idr which.

Very glad for some help picking the Lodi. It's a little early, but beetles are getting them too so it's either pick them or feed the beetles😔. They'll sweeten up some as they sit in the basement for a few days too. And they look good bc Dad sprayed... but they're small bc someone (ahem, me) didn't get them thinned😑.

Very glad for helpers to sauce these up next week!

Happy Birthday To Me

 Puppy snuggles on Tuesday afternoon.

Clearly the favorite human bc he's around most.

Although they seem to like me quite a bit too. Especially my bare ankles 😏

Evening activities.

Josh gets a mowing lesson.

I'd call them and puppies would run pell mell across the pen to me, then Dad would call them and they'd run pell mell across the pen to him. Over and over, so stinking cute. Whoever said money can't buy happiness has never spent time with a passel of puppies. Every human that looks at them is their favorite person on the planet.

Sarah went on trampoline and a couple pups just watched and watched. So cute.

Josh made waffles before bed so he could pop them in the toaster for breakfast before walking. Ben helped him taste test.

Wednesday. My 53rd bd 😮. I don't feel 53. I feel about 35. But since Levi is 29, Ino I'm not 35.

Anyway.

Jewel went to 360 and Josh walked beans (pumpkins?). Beautiful morning for a walk and I got so many nice texts. 

Since somebodies forgot to feed Calfie, I got a crash course and did fine.

Then to Echo's old house for awhile to help with a few projects. Had some mighty cute helpers.

Then to visit AB awhile, then to get Josh awhile, then to lake awhile. Best part was Jake & Natalie are home from OR! So great to see them.

A few OR px. Very beautiful country out there. Glad they had a good trip and glad they're home safe again.

Anyway. Back to the lake.

Littles kept Kate busy giving rides. Not sure Clay like sharing his Kate.

then to see puppies.

After church serenade by Ben was nice.

And that ended an awesome birthday.

Moving Day

Monday morning (6-27) Josh went walking again, and Jewel went to help Echo awhile (also got Josh when he was done walking). Then after Sarah & I met with her ICC advisor and got her all signed up for fall classes, Suzanne brought her crew out to adopt four cute kittens. Of course the puppies were glad to see the kids too.

Then Brooke, Sheryl, and Paige brought out their kiddos to see puppies. Of course the puppies were glad to see the kids too 😊. 

When Jewel & Josh got back from Echo's, Jewel gave a few horse rides. Kids did so good!

ASK dropped off three littles then and they wanted rides too. I only got a px of Jasper solo, Idk why. Kiowa and Flint certainly got their solo turns as well. They love it.

Sheryl was sure Thia wouldn't like a horse ride... and she didn't, for the first 30 seconds or so. Then she loved it, hammed it up, banging her little hand on the saddlehorn, so smiley and adorable! I didn't get a picture of Thia solo, but snagged one when Sheryl jumped on too.

Grandkids' turn when others left.

After Jasper went to bed and ASK took J&J on a Mackinaw River Walk, these two did quiet time and I did a powernap. Then we spent a beautiful afternoon in the backyard. We've had some lovely days lately.

Three went home, then choretime and more puppy play. Super cute and super fun.

After a quick supper, we joined a crew moving Levi's into a temporary house where they'll live while their basement is being dug out.
