Things are pretty cool this week, because the heat wave finally broke and the AC is off!! We are just lovin’ it! We are due some nice weather here because we didn’t have much of a spring. However, just because it feels like spring doesn’t mean it is. Instead of planting the cantaloupe, we are harvesting them. This is our first year to really try them so we had some over-ripe ones (last year we tried but the weeds took over). Aside from a few over-ripe ones though they have been pretty good.
Last night at Bibletime Dad read about Nebuchadnezzar’s second dream, the one about the big tree getting cut over.
Jacob (Nebuchadnezzar) and Jesse (Daniel) acted out the story while Dad read.
Daniel is very deep in thought about Nebuchadnezzar's dream.
Nebuchadnezzar turned into a wild beast.
Little kids were very attentive!
Today Meg came out and walked with Mom. She brought Joe out also and he stayed for the afternoon.
Peaches came yesterday.
