9-21-11 Nebraska

Last Monday around 7:30 we left for Nebraska. We had breakfast in the van, and we stopped for lunch at a little park. We arrived at our cabin at 4:30 or so. It took awhile to unload. When we were done unloading, we went down to the lake that was in our backyard and walked around it. By that time it was supper time. We had hotdogs and grapes for supper. After supper we went to a big walking bridge across the Platte River. Then we came back to the cabin. We took showers, did Bibletime, watched a few dvds, and then went to bed. Tuesday we were up at 7:30, had breakfast, and then went to the zoo. We spent all day there and had supper at Gambionis Pizza. We came back to the cabin at 7:30 and took showers, and then did Bibletime. We had a snack and then watched a couple dvds before bed. Wednesday morning we had breakfast and then went to Ak sar ben aquarium. Then that afternoon we went to the zoo. Thursday morning we went to Cabela’s. We went to a big walking bridge across the Missouri River. It had rained a bunch in the previous weeks so the river was really high. There were whirlpools one foot in diameter in the really fast part. Then we went to a little museum. We had supper at a spaghetti house which had very good food. We came back to the cabin and went fishing. Then we had hamburgers for supper. Friday morning we left for home at 9:00 A.M. and got home at 4:30. We had frozen pizza for supper that evening. It was a very fun vacation.
