So what exactly is this Favorite Thing?
It's Peach Iced Tea. A delicious, refreshing summer treat. I first had this bottled at the RSA Independence Day bash and came home determined to replicate it with my trusty peach tea bags. For the record, here's how I did it:
*because next summer there's a very good chance I won't remember how I did this ๐*
*anyway*
Boil one kettle of water, add one teabag for 20 minutes or so. Remove teabag. Add to one gallon pitcher filled half-full with ice. Add 2/3 cup sugar or to taste. Chill until cold. Serve with ice in a glass glass. NOT a plastic cup. Iced tea in a glass glass is way better.
Just sayin'.
Garden is producing just fine.
Another Auggie Day.
Corn wagon has issues so was brought home for observation.
Beautiful evenings last week.

First orange peppers I've ever grown. Kinda cool.
Purples keep coming!
Another Favorite Thing explanation. A friend introduced me to Turkey Hill ice cream awhile ago. This stuff is amazing. It is delicious. This is my absolute favorite flavor, although the rest of the family prefers the cookies & cream or cookie dough. Only available at Kroger. Expensive but worth it; watch for sales. I haven't yet paid full price.
Another look at this Favorite Thing. I do love flowers, even the ones that grow everywhere so are technically probably classified as weeds.

Peaches on left - from the Meyer's stand in Morton (from S. IL). Delicious. Peaches on right - our trees. Not sure where they keep coming from. I thought we picked them all. But - - - delicious!
Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among
the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his
wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice
that seek the Lord. Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face
continually.
