As Kate is gone working more & more, Sarah & Jewel are doing more & more in the kitchen, and doing a great job too. Pretty soon Jewel will be making tatertot casserole solo!

Dad picked up some dry ice for a Sunday school lesson.
Lots of bubbly vapor.
This was pretty neat. We are pretty pathetic when it comes to science tricks & experiments, but this motivates me to do more. Capture dry ice vapor under a bubble, and watch it grow. Google “dry ice tricks” or something like that to see how it’s done. Pick up the dry ice at some Walmarts (have to ask at customer service), and get some bubble solution while you’re at it. That’s all you need!
A strip of cloth is saturated with bubble solution (like for blowing bubbles), then slowly, v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y dragged across the top of the bowl, creating a bubble which expands until it pops.

Or pop the vapour bubble with your finger. That works too!

Oooo dry ice! :) I used to put scraps in my dishwater at the lab... made washing nasty lab glassware so much more exciting.
