That’s what the kids are with the tractor Uncle Randy is using to rip the field. I must say it is B I G. Here is our wonderful Uncle Randy ripping the garden – those blades go DEEP and we’re confident the garden will be even better next year!
And here is our wonderful Uncle Randy coming to ask if the kids want rides!!! Do they???!!!
Yes they do, and they all got a turn, thank you very much Uncle Randy!!!! I was told this is John Deere’s biggest tractor, so I thought I better not miss a chance to get a close-up picture of it. And oh my, did I mention it is BIG?! The tires are HUGE!! Everything about it is - - - - well, BIG!!!!
Remember last night I thought Josh was a bit warm when I put him to bed? And he tossed and cried out during the night? Well, he woke up fine, no fever and rambunctious as always, but as the day wore on it became obvious that he had indeed contracted a cold. Here comes Octoberrrrrrrr - - - here comes cold season….athough this October has been NOTHING but warm and sunny, and we’re loving it!!!! At any rate, Josh wasn’t so bad, and acting fine (just a runny nose is all), so for the first time in I have no idea how long, we did something very amazing. And notable. We (all 11 Kaisers in residence here) got in the same vehicle (that would be the van) and drove to church!! :) And it was very nice to be there. Even though Sarah schnotzed her way through the whole service :( Why she was fine at home I don’t know (actually she told me she wasn’t thinking about it at home because she was busy. Makes sense, I guess.). Oh well, that’s how it goes sometimes.
A thought from the evening -
We read in II Chronicles 16, about Asa king of Judah who did foolishly when he asked Benhadad king of Syria to help him defeat Israel. Hanani the seer came to King Asa and rebuked him: (verse 9) For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Good thing to think on, that the eyes of the Lord are on each of us, to show Himself strong to us whose heart is perfect toward him. Perfect - NOT meaning no mistakes but rather, as we heard tonight, complete, or as my Bible says, at peace with or loyal to.
So – we keep our hearts completely toward God, and His eyes are on us to show Himself strong to us!!
Yesssss - - we serve an awesome God!!!
