March Catchup

Well so this month has been a really long year. I know you all can relate.

Back to the first part of March which really does seem like a year ago.

This was March 1.

*Insert Ben, looking over my shoulder as I'm typing: "You're still writing about puppies? That was a long time ago."*

I rest my case.

 

 

Favorite littles never tire of books.

 

A few puppies got to visit Restmor.

 

We had Bristol here for a few days while her folks took a getaway trip.

 

Auggie came a couple mornings also. Both of these kiddos are pretty loved around here!

 

 

I think Josh enjoyed the puppies most of all of us. They sure liked him too!

 

Wednesday crowd.

 

I think Joelle is the youngest to ride this. So cute. She was 2 last month.

 

I stayed with Kiowa and Flint one afternoon while Echo did something at the new house. Was a sunny nice day.

Kiowa really likes her Smoky the kitten.

 

 

Pups start to go to new homes. Only six left when this old mattress got pitched.

 

So intriguing how little boys like boy toys.

 

More books.

 

This was a Wednesday night when we hosted Bible class singing practice here. Josh had fun with Todd who got to come with his dad.

 

Pups got lots of attention after snack!

 

Pretty cute.

 

Ok well now it's March 5 and Jason Lee makes his appearance. Congratulations Jesse and Lucy!

 

Work on Levi&Echo's new house begins. Walls disappear, chimney disappears, old wallpaper disappears, and lots of dust appears.

All signs of progress!

 

Welcome, sunshine.

 

This was the Friday night after Jason was born. Josh is so enthralled with his new nephew.

 

Of course girls are too.

 

Kinsey was staying with us so she got to meet Jason as well.

 

 

Pups all sold and Tori has just a little cash on hand.

 

Sunday March 8 after church.

 

That night, we had Steiners over to celebrate Grandpa's 78th birthday which was last month.

 

Monday morning pancakes. Josh is getting to be quite the chef. He does make a mean pancake.

 

And that's long enough for this time. More catchup tomorrow.

Still More Puppies, Kids, and Skating

 

 

Aaaand after a few weeks at the laundromat (which isn't all that bad, by the way. Morton has a mansion of a laundromat), life got much more simple. Peeps, appreciate your washer/dryer because when they're out of service, life gets a little crazier!

Fun Friday Skate #6

 

Who knew waking up Grandpa could be so much fun?

 

A beautiful Sunday afternoon.

 

Somebody obviously wasn't thinking of sunsets when this shed was built.

 

On Monday we took a few puppies to South Side Christian Academy. It's an amazing ministry that can always use volunteers, prayers, and support. Check them out.

Kids loved the puppies (of course).

 

Puppies were wiped out by the time the last class visited!

 

Back home. A goldfish box is the funnest toy.

Hehe puppies love to help me sort laundry. So stinkin' cute.

 

Since puppies are weaned, Brandi spends a lot of time teaching them proper dog behavior. She's a great dog mom.
