KWA Saturday part 2

In the basement of Noah's Ark - great cave for kids. Look closely to find 6 littles.

 

Super fun playground.

 

Bags never really stopped.

 

Kayak races.

 

A few of us watched from the hillside.

 

I walked onto the "island" for a few pictures.

 

Josh, Evan, Wesley, and Landry.

 

I don't remember who all raced! I was maybe a little enamored with the beauty of the sky.

Back on the hillside, Dad and Trent walked to the island.

 

There's also a campsite on the island. Named "Island Campsite." Quite creative, huh?

Joel and Lance helped Grandma up this steep path. She did great but was glad Grandpa hadn't attempted it.

 

Sarah brought a sleeping Jasper back.

Cute person granddaughter was the first to top the island hill.

 

Rolling lessons commenced.

It's hard to tell, but there's actually a canal those canoes are heading around at the far end of the island. It's a pretty neat setup.

KWA Saturday part 1

Saturday morning the humidity and heat was gone and it. was. beautiful. Family kept coming all morning, and by noon I think everyone was there. We missed quite a few that weren't able to come; but was great to see all those who did. Super neat place we stayed at. Menno Haven. Google it if you're curious.

Kids had so much fun on Noah's Ark playground.

Many bags games, of course.

The best thing about inside vb is not chasing the balls all over a yard.

Waiting for lunch, enjoying family and the beautiful day.

Finally swim time! But it was really. really. cold.

Kids had a good time anyway. A. Jan had some fun water games with sweet prizes. Non-swimmers had fun re-connecting.

KWA Friday

A. Jan, Kinsey, Sarah, Jewel, Josh, and I started the weekend with some time in (by) the huge pool. Kids said it was cold, but with the hot hot air it felt good.

Family  trickled in all afternoon/evening until suppertime.

Exciting that Ben's new drone arrived just before he and Dad left for Menno Haven. He'd been waiting for it all week.

His old one had a sad ending due to a .22 bullet, but general conclusion is that it's better off dead anyway. The new drone is way nicer.

Kids landed at the gym which was really really hot. But fun.

Well I guess adults did too. Grandpa and Grandma enjoyed watching.

It was HOT.

Back at the beautiful air conditioned lodge, an intense game of checkers finally ended in a stalemate.

These two kept busy.

I lost. But we all had fun😊

Kids were all in dorms, and reports were that it got really late.
