June CatchUp 2

Saturday June 16 was butchering day. We didn’t butcher as many chickens as other years and had extra help to boot. Was a fun morning.

Aaron and Stephanie were quick to dig in and learn the art.

By the time we finished butchering at 9:30, everyone was good and hot. Most of the rest of the day was spent at the lake but I have no px.

This was Sunday afternoon – another hot day. Many many 90d+ days mean we really really appreciate Dave & Beth letting us use their lake. So fun and what a great way to keep cool!

On Monday we were glad Roxy and her crew could swim awhile.

Tuesday. No px of Kaiser Lake Day. Can’t remember if it was cancelled on account of rain or if I just didn’t take any px.

Wednesday. No px of lake so it must’ve rained that day.

Wagenbachs were here for piano lessons from Tori.

Swing cushions inside suggest it indeed rained that day. Nice rains sprinkled amid the hot humid ones have made for really really tall corn. Tallest ever.

Thursday was a Stuber/Keever day. Josh loved having buddies.

That night, kids introduced Kiowa to Pop-Its. Not sure how impressed she was by them. . .

Friday cuteness.

Fun to keep Rosie and Kate that evening. Sweet littles!

June CatchUp 1

I’ve been having a terrible time getting px from my phone to the computer where I blog. Some px will transfer; some won’t. When they do transfer, the order is all goofed up, and it was so long ago I don’t remember specifics. So be it. If these px are somewhat out of order, who’s going to know?? I’m just thankful for the precious memories they provide

So this was the Sunday evening after Jesse&Lucy’s wedding. It was a wonderful day and we enjoyed hashing it over together. We are blessed.

First Kaiser Lake Day was that Tuesday.

This was the next Tuesday when it was too muddy to drive down the hill to the lake; Tessa and Echo came for lunch instead. Kiowa got to meet her newest cousin Ellis. I think she liked her

Friday was just a little crowd.

Levi took littles fishing that night then.

Ok so I think you must admit that’s about the cutest little fisherbaby ever.

And she caught a fish!!
