Anything but routine as we anticipate a busy few days. I chased both to Tremont (crashed computer to the Dr. Haas) and Morton, getting home almost exactly at noon. A busy afternoon cleaning and preparing food, with Dad coming home from work early to help which I appreciated VERY much. Levi went to Precision all day, and Jesse helped Uncle Randy in the morning awhile too. Early chores for all, and then a little after 4:00 Doug & Jill got here with their kids. It was SOOOO good to see them – it had been so long and we had an absolutely wonderful time catching up. Nate & Sandi & family joined us for supper then, and when Doug’s left around 7:00 to spend the evening with family, we enjoyed the rest of our evening with Nate’s. So many laughs, precious memories revisited, new memories made, cherished friendships enjoyed. Thank You Lord, for Your blessings on me!
Joshua helping – everyone has to do his part, and he’s already learning.
This was taken while I was gone – I can well imagine the fun. (I want to be JUST LIKE my big brother!)
A weekend food prep project.
Blessed with another full table – full of friends, full of food.
Our Phoenician friends – Nathan, Phillip, Jill, Janelle, and Doug. Thank you so much, Huettes, for squeezing us into your busy schedule. We so enjoyed our brief time together; although it was low on time, it was certainly high on quality!
Nate demonstrating Doug’s pose when a certain classmate practiced a karate kick into his stomach.
Reminiscing about those days back then again – as always - brought tears of laughter and hurting sides. How we wish Phoenix was not so far away!!
