Another beautiful routine day for the most part. Boys milked twice, studying in between. I enjoyed an invigorating walk with Brooke while our crew had fun with Sutton, Hudson, and Kerrigan. It was cold, but not windy, so a great day to be outside, a great day to be alive in the Lord! No sunshine until late in the afternoon, which was ok because we have the SonLight of Jesus Christ in our hearts everyday anyway!
Sunlight (Tabernacle Hymns #5)
I wandered in the shades of night ‘Till Jesus came to me,
And with the sunlight of His love Bid all my darkness flee.
Sunlight, sunlight in my soul today (today, yes), Sunlight, sunlight all along the way (narrow way);
Since the Saviour found me, Took away my (load of) sin, I have had the sunlight of His love within.
Tho’ clouds may gather in the sky, And billows ‘round me roll,
However dark the world may be, I’ve sunlight in my soul!
Sunlight, sunlight in my soul today (today, yes), Sunlight, sunlight all along the way (narrow way);
Since the Saviour found me, Took away my (load of) sin, I have had the sunlight of His love within.
While walking in the light of God, I sweet communion find.
I press with holy vigor on, And leave the world behind.
Sunlight, sunlight in my soul today (today, yes), Sunlight, sunlight all along the way (narrow way);
Since the Saviour found me, Took away my (load of) sin, I have had the sunlight of His love within.
I cross the wide extended fields, I journey o’er the plain,
And in the sunlight of His love I reap the golden grain.
Sunlight, sunlight in my soul today (today, yes), Sunlight, sunlight all along the way (narrow way);
Since the Saviour found me, Took away my (load of) sin, I have had the sunlight of His love within.
Soon I shall see Him as He is, The light that came to me;
Behold the brightness of His face, Thro’-out eternity.
Sunlight, sunlight in my soul today (today, yes), Sunlight, sunlight all along the way (narrow way);
Since the Saviour found me, Took away my (load of) sin, I have had the sunlight of His love within.
After supper, Dad and I went to Morton to do a few errands, one being bringing the van home from Mike’s Garage. Beds for all, and that’s all.
These were on the camera today: this critter is a mink.
Although Jacob’s been practicing skinning the opossums, Jesse did this mink.
Ruth,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the walk and the conversation. You have a great gift of hospitality and our family has been blessed by it. Thank you!
Nice skinnin' Jesse! Can't wait 'til y'all come over tonight!
