We were glad for Misty and some of her children, and Dana and all of her children to help us sing at Restmor this morning; Dana and crew joined us for lunch afterwards and some fellowship time for all. Boys milked twice, studying in between; nothing abnormal there. Aunt Joyce blessed us by coming to read after chores; on a cold sunny day the kids were happy to snuggle up with her and listen. Supper, Bibletime, playtime, got a few Christmas cards ready to go, made some lists for tomorrow, did some major and minor cleaning for tomorrow, and beds then for all.
Playing Killer Rabbit…sounds kind of violent, with rabbits facing various horrid deaths, such as being killed in the car compressor, boiled in tar, getting too close to the gardener’s hedge trimmer, rabbit road pizza, etc…but considering that most of the resident kids here get their thrills from trapping (or observing) other such rodents in various foot traps, kill traps, etc., it’s really not that strange that said kids enjoyed this game immensely. I guess a rodent is a rodent no matter if real or in a game. Wonder who thinks up such a game…probably some avid gardener who has lost many a vegetable to a marauding malevolent menace!
Younger crowd with a calmer game.
AJK.
That’s it.
