Today (5-24) was pretty cool and seasonable so it's kind of hard to even remember last weekend when it was still 88 or 90 or something like that. Anyway, it was. Saturday morning, I walked early-ish. I always enjoy the beautiful view.
And I always enjoy this girl doing her favorite thing.
Morning was tasks. Afternoon was play.
😍
This little guy was too busy to bother looking at me.
Jesse's left and Jacob&Natalie came down awhile. And Brandi.
Enjoyed three cutests for the evening. This px is for the blue blue eyes, omy.
This one is plain cute. He got along well with his cast.
💗
U. Josh surprised his nephews and niece when he dropped in!
Josh invented a novel way to make roads for the kids.
Sunday morning beauty.
Kittens in trailer are doing fine.
Steers always seem so peaceful.
My first attempt at a panorama. It seems a bit wonky at the top and I missed the full double rainbow but owell. I'll take it. It was stunning. Pictures can't possibly do it justice so you'll have to take my word for it.
I've never seen such vivid colors.
Rainy sunset was spectacular too.
The lighting was almost eerie but in a beautiful way. Nothing I'd ever seen before. Again, pictures can't do justice.
Later that night then we watched the lunar eclipse and blood moon. I was pretty impressed with my phone camera picture...
...until U. Jeff sent this the next day. It was taken by A. Jill's cousin. Isn't that simply amazing?
And this.
Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze,
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in -
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art.
