Boys milked; Levi worked at CIT, and Jesse worked here. Friday jobs. Pretty routine day, until ASK and I went out for lunch. We did a few errands first and Walmart after; home around 2:00 to find kids beating the heat in the backyard pool and waterslide. Afternoon jobs, I worked on school prep – ALMOST READY… supper at 6:00 like normal. Unlike normal, our supper was interrupted by a beautiful thunderstorm. Levi went to sing at Hopedale Nursing Home then, and the rest of us did dishes and took our peach crates back to Sauders. Home to put the bench back in the van and wait for Levi; then all of us went to Culver’s. Home pretty late and to beds; that’s it.
Tori took a few pictures of the watermelon patch – all these are different melons!
Jacob was explaining a bug to his captivated audience (I think the bug got away though).
Did I mention it was 99 degrees outside again? Our basement is a bit cold, I guess…
