Studying hard :)
The kids got combine rides again today – probably the last time this year. It was so dusty!! The cloud of dust just followed the combine all over. And when the combine was just south of the house, the dust came right on in the open windows…until I realized it and closed them for awhile. It was hard to walk out to the combine because the dust was just so thick, and blowing right into our eyes…I know soybean harvest is always dusty, but I don’t ever remember it being quite this bad before.
All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small. All things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.
The purple headed mountain, the river flowing by, The sunset and the morning which brighten up the sky.
He gave us eyes to see them And lips that we might tell. How great is GOD ALMIGHTY Who has made all things well.
Josh was so cute tonight (isn’t he always?!). Jesse had been reading a book on the swing, and Josh wanted Jesse to play with him. Bossy little man with his precious baby voice says to Jesse, “Put dat book down.” Which Jesse, being the wonderful big brother that he is, did, and they had a jolly time shelling soybeans together.
Sweet memories!
