After a light late supper (light and late because no one was hungry - I wonder why? Now I remember why we only do biscuit donuts about twice a year), we listened to Dad read another chapter of Where the Red Fern Grows and...well, did the same things we do while we listen. Nothing exciting. Well, ummm, nothing exciting until the rowdies start being rowdy...that's when I hightail it out of there...it's hardly safe for women and babies [smile].
After some Bible reading, songs, and memory verses, it was bedtime.
"Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me."
