4-29-13 Happy Birthday Dad
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psalm 1:1-3

4-27-13 Magdalena Benefit Concert
A few months ago we were honored to be invited to participate in a gospel concert to benefit the Bible Class mission trip to Magdalena, Mexico. Last night was the concert, and we were blessed to be a part of it.
Our kids were asked to perform first.
Mike led the audience in a few songs while the Plattners got set up.
Jesse, Javan, Jolene, LauraLee.
A few more songs led by Mike, and then the Sauders sang. Meadow, Talon, Echo, Halo, Willow, Arrow.
Indigo, Anchor, and Shepherd joined them for The Fire Song.
Mike’s granddaughter Whitney joined him for a song while The Tennessee Miller Boys set up.
Four Kaisers on left (Tennessee Avenue), Gabriel and Josiah Koch on right (Miller Road).
Another set with Mike; this time his daughter Abigail joined him and Whitney for a song while Brush Arbor got ready.
Dave Koch, Kevin Hofstetter, Roger Koch, Dale Kaufmann.
Tremont Community Center.
[Please excuse fuzzy px. Lights in back were off, resulting in less-than-great exposure. Better fuzzy than none, remember?]
Afterwards – jam session in the storage room!
Continued in the bigger room.
Thanks so much to Roger for all your efforts in organizing and executing this wonderful evening and to the participants who all did great!!!!!
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

4-26-13 Twenty-One Years
When pure and upright hearts, By flames of love ignited,
Are by the bond of faith More firmly yet united,
The light of hope beams forth In radiance far and nigh,
Invites us to partake The blessings from on high.
Then shall this vale of tears On earth become an Eden
When joined in spirit we In prayer look up to heaven,
Then bear we joyfully This earthly toil and care;
We put our trust in God And all complaints forbear.
This union of our hearts Shall stand through grace in Jesus;
We walk the path of life, while cheer and trust increases.
Where God in truth abides, Where two join hand and heart,
We find a threefold cord, Not lightly rent apart.
This God-made union then Shall never more be broken,
Where faith and love have been The holy cov’nant’s token
Where God the seal does give, The hope shall e’er remain,
Though parting be our lot, To meet in heav’n again.
And then, what blissful joy Will bind such hearts together,
When after parting’s grief They meet again in heaven,
Who through this earthly vale Did journey hand in hand,
Joined in the bond of grace By love’s most sacred band!
This covenant shall then Endure and stand forever;
There neither grief nor pain Shall come to part or sever.
There God shall e’er abide With us our truest friend,
Our hearts in Him unite Forever, without end.

4-24-13 Restmor Tuesday
by Tori
This is from Sunday afternoon – it was a beautiful afternoon – sunny and 60. Jewel and one of our many cats.
Monday was even nicer – thus the short sleeves.
Monday night Dad and the boys put more dirt around the house and planted grass.
Josh said, “I don’t know how I got all turned around like that!”
Yesterday a group of friends sang with us at Restmor and then came for lunch afterwards. As always, we had a good time, even though the rain moved our picnic into the garage.
“Sound”
[guess who?]*
[editor’s note: Sarah is not holding a porcelain doll. That is a very sweet and precious (and tired) Paige! Isn’t she absolutely beautiful??!!!]
Aunt Sarah brought Jacob his birthday bars.
(Yes, there are only 12 candles…that’s because Levi and Jake couldn’t find any more.)
Wrestling after Bibletime. [“Mommy, me and Jesse match!”]
