by Milton Ruppert
My little one was sleeping
In the quiet of the night,
And I quietly slipped in
To see if he was alright.
As I stood silently there,
Many thoughts I did enjoy,
How God in all His mercy
Had sent this baby boy.
A perfect gift from heaven,
With dainty hands and feet,
A miracle from Heaven
With radiance so sweet.
I thought of the great challenge
That God had given to me,
To raise this child for Jesus
That he a Christian might be.
Through sickness and through sorrow,
Through happiness and joy,
I have a constant challenge
To raise a Christian boy.
Love this verse....thank you for sharing :)
