So since my computers were gone for a week, and I take pictures with both my phone and my camera, and I got so far behind, and I cannot remember when things happened back way far, and the order of the pictures got so messed up because some are from my camera and some are from my phone, I finally decided I’d have to plop the pictures up in the order they show up and that’s going to be that.
Here goes:
I think this was actually before the boys went out west – so it was a couple weeks ago.
Jill and Ceci joined us at the lake one day. Was another beautiful day.
A few Sauder kids spent an afternoon with us. Yet another beautiful day.
Since Ben has been getting up at 5:30 or something like that, he’s usually pretty tired when he gets home in the afternoon. He was sleeping the moment before I took this picture.
We’ve enjoyed lots of fresh salsa lately. Stay tuned for a recipe.
This was sometime in the last few weeks when we were still doing peaches every. single. day. If we weren’t doing a bushel for the freezer, we were doing “just a few” for fresh. The last tree is finally starting to ripen, but it only has a dozen or so peaches on it. Thankfully. I think we’re all kind of peached out. Oh, not peached out of eating. Just of doing.
Onion crop is beautiful.
A. Joyce has been out multiple times with Blayne, Kennedi, and Kinsey. Always fun to have them here.
I guess it was two weeks ago – the same day the boys left for vacation -that we went on a cruise on the Spirit of Peoria. Was another really beautiful day and a really fun field trip.
Many evening fires lately because the weather has been so beautiful.
So I think this was the Saturday after the boys went west. Tori & Kate spent the day in Chicago with friends, and the rest of us went to CP for the Rinkenberger Reunion. Much interest in CJ’s drone.
Quiet ride home.
Kate and Skeet never seem to mind giving rides.
We’ve been playing some corn hole lately, and Josh and Ben made us another set of boards. They did a great job!
Beautiful evenings have meant kids want to sleep outside. Not even sure who this is.
When a munchkin is so cute and smiley and photogenic, it’s hard to stop taking pictures.
Or posting them
Ben’s been interested in Diamond lately. Not sure what’s up with these boys liking horses all of a sudden.
Miss Cutie liked the baby swing too.
Last weekend was pretty fun to have some Baer cubs for a couple of days.
Love that infectious grin.
Last Saturday night after testimonies, we were blessed when young group came here for snacks -
- - - and singing.
Already learning to read -
A rare music practice -
We zipped up to 360 on Monday to view the eclipse through welding helmets and on a pinhole shadow.
Or, in some cases, through 3 pairs of sunglasses.
Or through the welding glasses which were so kindly shared with us.
Last lake day of the summer – so much fun to have a crowd of Kochs with us yesterday.
And that’s about it - - -
BLINK - - -
ready or not - - -
summer’s over!
