Nuggets Along the Trail: 10-28-15 Zip-Line

Over the years, we've always compared our family life to a wagon train heading west. Just as everyone had to do his part to get to Oregon years ago, so everyone in our family must do his/her part to make our journey through life successful. If somebody climbs in the wagon and lets the others do the work, we just don't make any progress. We all have to pull our weight and work together. Along the trail we find lots of pebbles that make for a smooth ride and some bigger rocks that jar us a little; we hit the occasional pothole that can slow us down. But if we purpose to search diligently, there are countless gold nuggets and precious gemstones along the way as well. This journal is an attempt to preserve some of those precious moments for our children, and our children's children, as together we travel this trail called life.

10-28-15 Zip-Line

Last Sunday afternoon (October 18) we went zip-lining. It was tons of fun and everyone had a great time!

Here are a few pictures for you Dave Smile .

Jesse tried the T-bar (hanging on to a little bar only---like a little backyard zip line) first and so of course Levi and Jake had to do it. It looked really fun and they said the T-bar was the only way to go. Jake said I should do it and it looked really fun so I did it too. It was really fun and I definitely agree that T-barring is the only way to go Smile .

Thanks so much Dave!! It was a blast!

Last Monday (October 19), we went to town and watched G’pa Steiner’s house get demolished. It’s really something watching a piano get moved around like it’s nothing……

and whole pieces of roof for that matter!

Not sure what they were doing here.

Lainey came one day last week for awhile.
