As we drove out of the driveway, the rain started; by the time we got to the Morton Fellowship Hall for lunch, it had almost stopped. It was hot before, like as hot and humid as it’s been this summer; after the rain it was still hot but cloudy which made it more bearable than it was before. Which was good because there was a lot to do outside. First up was a Mento Coke demonstration by U. Kenny which was pretty neat. Do try this at home, but first purchase the little gadget that drops a bunch of Mentos at once, and do be sure to do it outside!
After the demonstration was over, littles played for hours on the playground,
while olders played volleyball with many cousins,
or visited.
The FH AC was appreciated by all after the clouds dissipated and the sun came out in full force. Oh was it hot!!
That’s it.
