Well we figured 12 hours today, and we left at 6:00 and arrived at 6:30. So, if it wasn’t for the 30 minute detour that we took (due to a missed turn), we would’ve made it in just 12 hours. Oh well.
Nebraska is farm country, with lots of farms and cattle operations to see; and Colorado is hilly until you get into the mountains, and then it’s, well, mountainous.
(Ummmmmm. After 6 or so hours of listening to Hank, I find myself thinking in Hankese. Oh no!!)
First view of the mountains. Can you see them? Look closely!
Again. It was partly cloudy, and we drove through several patches of very light rain, but nothing big or bad, so we were thankful.
Closer view.
We saw lots of these signs.
So glad to be out of the van!
Enjoying Sun Valley Lake.
Our cabin is the middle one.
Good night!
It looks so beautiful! Have fun!
