Sunday, December 24 - Christmas Eve.
I spent the morning with Grandma Steiner, and she seemed some (definitely not a lot) better. The nurse told us that the next 24 hours would clarify whether she would beat this or not. Grandma had beat pneumonia so many times before that we were thinking (well, I was anyway) that she was going to beat it again this time...
But I'm getting a little ahead of myself.
Note: short sleeves. Lovely day for target practice after church.
And a walk.
It was after this walk, 4:24 to be precise, when ASarah sent the text that something had changed with Grandma and we should head that way.
Grandma went to be with Jesus at 4:30 pm; Dad & I got there about 10 minutes later. ASarah was with her when she died, and we are all so thankful that she passed away peacefully and didn't suffer.
We serve an awesome God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21
