Excellent trip to SC on the Berean Bus for Lucas & Chelsea’s wedding.
Always good to blow off a little steam now and then.
Yes. We saw a clown in this Kmart/Lil Caesar’s. Just a little creepy.
Right to bed when we got to hotel as pool was closed already. And oh my was I tired!
Saturday morning waiting to the board the bus - - -
to go to Soda City, a open air farmer’s market type thing. It was a beautiful day.
The Dulcimer Guy was amazing.
As was the young man with his card tricks. Very talented!
Walked a few more blocks -
- to tour the SC state capitol building. Interesting, educational, and fun.
Did I mention it was a beautiful day?
Back to Soda City street fair for lunch at this random vendor.
Most amazing thing.
This lady wondered where we were from. Illinois. Oh, she’s been to Illinois! Her ex-in-laws were from a tiny little town from there; we’d probably never heard of it:
Tremont!
What are the chances?!!
Her ex-husband had graduated from THS in 1997, she knew we were Apostolic Christians, she knew where MaryAnn Vance lives, and she had even been to the Tremont Turkey Festival! Truly it’s a small world after all!
Soooooo -
Back to the bus, back to the hotel, get ready for the wedding, back on the bus, and on to the wedding.
Congratulations, Lucas & Chelsea!
Time for a quick family picture afterwards.
Enjoyed the food, fellowship, and games thoroughly but took few pictures.
And, back on the bus, back to hotel, good night’s sleep, LONG drive home, a few quick stops, and glad to be home!
And thankful for a safe and blessed trip!
