Back to Memorial Day, Monday evening.
After a day of work and projects and some time at the lake for some and tubin’ the Mack for others, we enjoyed a deer drive in the Mackinaw River bottom before coming home for ice cream. It was a beautiful evening to sit around the fire.
Tuesday.
Wednesday.
Buggy Bumpers (aka Buggles)(aka Bugs) has figured out where we spend much of our time and now spends much of his time watching us.
Project done: new cornhole bags for the cornhole boards.
Project in process: skirts made from jeans.
We made it to the lake for awhile with Leann & her crew,
coming home to find Brett’s concrete crew getting us ready for a new driveway.
Thursday.
Guess who?
Another project done: matching containers and lids. Fun fun!
Surprise! Water pouring out of the bottom . Not a good sign.
Friday (yesterday) morning driveway pour.
And a birthday girl!
A nap for Lainey who was so intrigued by the concrete crew that she wouldn’t even look at me!
A great crew that does a great job. See phone numbers, above .
Jacob was barely home from work when he started taking off forms.
Grandpa & Grandma & A Joyce joined us for supper.
And Sarah is ten!
Something she’s been wanting for a really long time:
After Sarah gets her new book read and we get all the equipment cleaned and ready, off we’ll go to Charlie’s Aquarium to pick out a parakeet (aka Budgerigar).
Some people don’t know how to stop working!
Others tried out the new driveway.
This morning.
Work done, time for fun.
After supper there was still more work to do! Josh took these px.
I don’t know who took this one.
We often see this little lady reading while she walks. She’s quite talented at it!
Another talented girl -
The end!
(and completely caught up, too!!!!!!!)
