Matthiesen State Park Etc.

Last Saturday afternoon we had a great day hiking with Dan & Anne & co. With cliffs to climb, logs to cross, stairs and bridges to navigate, and lots of stepping stones across streams - - - what’s not to like?

Only one person fell in - - -

Getting the log balanced just right was tricky - - -

I came through this cool tunnel right before Jacob jumped down, almost but not quite landing on me. Complete with the rest of the crowd hollering, I think it was supposed to scare me but it didn’t. I’m too brave for that.

but that was the end of the px I took! After a delicious supper and a really nice singing at the Elgin Fellowship Center, we headed home again… very thankful for the wonderful weekend and great times spent with really special people.
