Well I was really not prepared for the humidity of home after the wonderfully cool sunny days we had in CO. But. Like it or not, it is what it is, and so we march on in the humidity. School is up and running, more or less smoothly, and we’ve had a few last lake days before yesterday when we brought home all the beach paraphernalia. Now today we’re (well, at least I am) enjoying one of the few rainy days of the summer which brings a slower pace to life. Which is nice. And we need the rain so this is good.
Here are a few shots of life lately. Nothing big, dramatic, or exciting . . . just life in the slower (kind of) lane.
This was the week after we got home. I think. Cason was pretty pleased with the fish Josh caught for him.
One of Kiowa’s favorite books at Grandma’s house: reptiles
One hot hot evening we explored Bass Pro Shoppe in Peoria. Great way to beat the heat but a far cry from Colorado
Love this girl.
And this babe. Photo cred: Echo.
Fun to have Roxy’s crew out again.
I think this was last Wednesday.
Last thought for this time around ~~~
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
