We spent the afternoon planting the garden, since it was nice out. It was a little cloudy but still pretty nice for the most part.
I guess U. Randy had the same idea on planting, since he had the planter out all afternoon in the field around our house. It made pretty things pretty dusty when he came close to our house on the end rows, but it wasn't super bad.
This is the conversation that usually happens whenever Josh is wrestling and being mean to Brandi
Me: Josh, quit being mean to the dog.
Josh: I'm not being mean, she likes it. (in baby talk: "don't you Brandi")
Me: Oh whatever. Tori, Josh is being mean to your dog.
etc..
I have no idea what this is.
(editor's note: for the record, this is four rhubarb plants)
Another editor's note, for the record: potatoes (not up yet), onions, one row of beans (not up yet), 2 rows of sugar snap peas, 2 rows of spinach, one row of lettuce. Tomatoes in buckets, green peppers behind them.
The big game around our house lately is still Monopoly Deal. It's a simplified card version of Monopoly, which involves stealing property and property sets. It's a lot of fun, and we would definitely recommend it to anybody who likes fun card games
Flint discovered the gold mine of tractor toys in Josh's room and was in little boy heaven for the evening until we had to put them away.
I think Jesse & Lucy must have come over for church, or just to hang out on a Saturday afternoon. I'm not for sure. There are so many people that come and go all the time at this house, it's hard to keep track of who's here when and why.
Saturday evening we had guests. We got the tractors out for Flint but put them away before Auggie and Wyatt got here so there wouldn't be any jealousy among them.
Okay, apparently there were tractors out anyway. And Josh's turtle.
Until Auggie tried to take a bite of it.
We have this robin nest in the orchard right now. It is literally picture perfect.
More Monopoly Deal.
Two Baer boys were pretty impressed with the snake. Ella was impressed, but scared. Clara thought it was a toy, but we didn't let her have it. Jenna wasn't impressed at all :)
Ben had to see if he could do the Sally-ups pushup challenge; and since Katie can't turn down a challenge she tried it too. I don't know how far any of them made it.
And while they were at it...
We had Joelle again on Wednesday, and as usual she had to go and find the hoverboard right away.
And I'm sure she was a great help with Sarah's Algebra.
Sarah baby-sat this kiddo for awhile, but he really doesn't even need one on one, although we're all willing to give it to him. He just bops around and tells people to go "hide," and so he stands there watching while you hide and then he comes and finds you. He loves it, and it's pretty cute to watch.
Awwwwww.
Yep he's mighty cute.
