Nice invention, Jacob!

Warning: when you bake mud/flour cookies, they smell AWFUL.

Whoever heard of a park with no picnic tables??!

EP Riverfront Park last weekend,

which used to be the site of this:

A lot of Peoria history.

Josh’s favorite part -

Last weekend we enjoyed a beautiful evening with some Kaiser cousins.

While we were at Restmor last Tuesday it poured .4” rain, but thankfully it cleared off and everything dried quickly so we could have a lovely picnic afterwards.

Sweet sweet babies!!!!!!

Maybe ten minutes after everyone left, it started raining again. God is so good!
This is the only picture I took of the 7th Annual MCA Open House

Kate wanted to make homemade popsicles, so she googled the recipe and decided they’re much better than store. Imagine that!

That night, TMB played at Butch Koch’s Granary for the Tazewell County Old Thresher’s Association annual dinner. They did a great job! But then I might be a little prejudiced . . .

Friday night we enjoyed another wiener roast, thankful that four special little guests could join us again.

RAINY Saturday!!

Josh has been patiently waiting for a sand sifter, and his Very Nice Big Brother Jesse made this deluxe edition for him. Needless to say, Josh was very pleased with it.

Still happy when we get Mo Willems from the library

Our sweet Sarah celebrated her 11th birthday. Happy Birthday, Sarah!! You are so quickly growing into a delightful young woman, and I am so thankful for all that you’re learning and willing to help me with. Be it cooking, baking, laundry, cleaning, or taking care of little people who visit us, your (usual!) willingness and cheerfulness is such a blessing to us. Thank you, and we hope you have a wonderful year being 11!

And that’s about enough for this time around!
