Last Lake Day
Monday was HOT so naturally we did a Last Lake Day.
Wedneday morning I picked peaches. At this point there was only one (1) tree left with peaches.
The last three trees were ready all at once; and once again, peaches were beautiful.
Wednesday a few cutests helped pick a few apples for their mom,
and then we went to another Last Lake Day😊
Ready for church.
Josh has been doing a great job digging potatoes; these two beauties were 1.5# pounds each or something like that.
This from Sarah, I think😍
Levi Sauder Reunion
With all the tomato-ing that's been going on lately, Dad had a hankering for chili. Yes, in August! A quick text on the fam chat on Saturday morning, and oddly enough everyone could come for supper that evening, although Ben & Sarah went to a tyg Bible study a little later.
Sunday morning, August 28
Afternoon
Beautiful evening for the annual Levi Sauder Reunion.
Later that evening then we were so blessed to have the Drayer family stop by for a *quick* visit. Really hoping to get them here again soon for a longer visit but we enjoyed them while we had them.
Apple & Tomato Days
Monday evening, August 22.
Tuesday morning walk.
Salsa day - onions were pretty potent 😆
Horse ride with Jewel. We've seen a few deer lately.
Apples are coming on strong.
Salsa😋
Brandi gets to go with us to Levi's sometimes; this evening we stopped at Jesse's for something also. Sweet boys were happy to see Brandi!
On to Levi's.
Home again, I had great help preparing for my last tomato juice day.
Wednesday, August 24.
😍
Not many ppl get to hold a live hummingbird, but Josh rescued this one from inside a shed. Little Hummer flew away fine and dandy when Josh released him.
Thursday evening.
